Fish 2.0: Six finalists announced competition winners, given cash prizes

STANFORD, California -- Follow all the news from the Fish 2.0 business competition, held for the second time since 2013 at the campus of Stanford University.

The event awards up to $30,000 in cash prizes to the top-scoring businesses among 37 finalists who seek to launch or expand ventures in the sustainable seafood sector. An additional $195,000 in service contracts will also be awarded.

There were 170 companies entering from around the world participating in this year's competition up from 83 countries in 2013. Investors from around the world also attended the event.
