Fish 2.0 ICX "Industry Connection" Prizes
In 2017, Fish 2.0, in collaboration with leading industry partners, will offer a number of ICX - "Industry Connection " Prizes. These prizes are intended to grow the sustainable seafood industry by offering Fish 2.0 finalists and runners up the following:
- Unique access and connection opportunities with industry leaders and investors
- An invaluable chance to gain insider knowledge, connections, and insights that will help them to expand their ventures.
All 2017 Fish 2.0 finalists and runners up (all tracks) will be eligible. ICX Prizes are awarded upon mutual agreement by the Fish 2.0 advisory panel and the prize-giver per the specific criteria for each prize. They do not include travel costs unless otherwise specified.

Two complimentary passes for registration for ONE: The Alltech Ideas Conference in Lexington, KY in 2018. Prize Recipients will have the opportunity to meet and connect with industry leaders and investors attending the Conference, and to learn about emerging trends in the feed and agricultural industries. The Prize also includes meetings in Lexington, KY with members of the Alltech Innovations team to discuss industry trends and opportunities for partnership
The Prize will be awarded to a company that is operating a successful business involving a fish meal alternative, natural pigments for fish feed, vegetarian fish diet, and/or natural antibiotic alternatives.

A one day consultation with the Australis leadership team on how to introduce new products to market and/or scaling an aquaculture enterprise. A half-day expert consultation with Calvert Foundation's lending staff who lead the "Women investing in Women" program, including mentorship, guidance and information on accessing financing.
The Prize will be awarded to a woman-owned or led seafood business or a seafood business predominantly benefitting women, preferably with two years of operating experience.

2 half-days or 1 full-day meeting with FishChoice’s Leadership Team for up to 3 people, sharing FishChoice’s expertise on sustainable seafood rating and certifications, including:
- Training and consultation on how the ratings and certifications work, variations in different markets and sectors, and how to incorporate them into training, marketing and other core business functions.
- Introductions and interviews with sustainable seafood opinion leaders identified by FishChoice and the prize recipient, such as chefs, retail buyers, and others.

The Rabobank ICX Prize for Fish 2.0
The Rabobank Prize aims to help a growing seafood business gain knowledge on how to strategically use debt and successfully structure investments as it grows, and also to better understand the marketplace, competitive forces and trends which will impact the business’s growth and success.
- One half-day Meeting and Consultation with Rabobank’s North American seafood lending team.
- A consultation with Rabobank’s global seafood analyst.
The winning business will be a finalist or runner up of the Fish 2.0 2017 Competition that is a growing North American seafood enterprise that demonstrates a readiness to work with a commercial lending partner and for whom business growth will generate strong positive environmental and social impacts.

The Prize will be awarded to a company that is growing a sustainable seafood business, and has an interest in mission-aligned financing and a desire to review its marketing for opportunities with branding and outreach.

Stavis Seafoods' ICX Prize for Fish 2.0:
A half day of expert consultation with Stavis Seafoods CEO and Responsible Sourcing Manager including mentorship, guidance and information on accessing new market opportunities.
The prize will be based on the innovative nature of the product being brought to market and the direct benefit to the fishing community. Special attention will be placed on products using underutilized and low-value species.

2 day consultation with specialists from TomAlgae to offer advice and expertise to a growing oyster aquaculture venture that will help them to normalize their algae supply in the hatchery and nursery stage as they scale production.
The Prize will be awarded to a North American Aquaculture Fish 2.0 Finalist or Runner-up that is growing algae to use in the hatchery and nursery stage for oysters and that will benefit from advice and services offered by TomAlgae.
Wabel is the first European B2B Marketplace that facilitates connections and agreements between Private Label (PL) Retailers and Manufacturers of retail products worldwide. Wabel offers major retail groups the opportunity to easily search, connect and meet industrial partners and producers for their private label product ranges. Wabel Retail ICX Prize for Fish 2.0:
- An invitation to one Wabel Summit in 2018. (Frozen or Fresh, depending on winner’s profile) .
- A minimum of 8 pre-qualified face to face meetings with fish buyers from European largest retail groups, such as Carrefour, Tesco, Auchan, Kaufland, Metro, Casino.

The Wabel Retail Prize will be awarded to a Finalist or Runner-up of the Fish 2.0 2017 Competition that is a seafood producer or supplier and whose business supplies products of potential value to European big-box retailers and who is seeking market opportunities in Europe.
